We worked with UCL, Age UK and Bloomsbury Festival to design and construct a box to transport a cultural event to the home of someone suffering dementia. We began by taking an exhibition stand at the Bloomsbury Festival asking people to record their experience of the festival itself, completing an activity sheet and returning it to us. In this way we began to understand how people experienced an event.

We then worked with Age UK and UCL to design a box which could be loaded with different experiences and taken to the home of a person suffering dementia who was unable to attend the event. The box could then be unpacked and explored with a person from Age UK so that the event could be brought to life.
